Rebecca is from Muskego, Wisconsin. She goes to church at Victory of the Lamb in Franklin and attended St. Paul’s in Muskego for grade school.
Rebecca was nominated for the Viking Christian Leader award for her commendable attitude and generosity by showing Christ’s love in her actions toward others.
Currently a junior at Wisco, Rebecca has participated in the play, musical, Drama Club, A Cappella Choir, Viking Steel, Kindness Crew, Hope Squad, WWW, NHS, VCLA, and Student Council. She has also gone on a Wisco mission trip to Tennessee.
Rebecca has volunteered at her church as a Sunday School volunteer, playing piano and guitar, and singing.
In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys reading, writing, listening to music, running, hanging out with family and friends, baking, going on bike rides, driving around with friends, and sometimes working at her job.
After graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Rebecca plans to attend college for music therapy, preferably somewhere in Tennessee if it’s God’s plan.
Rebecca characterizes gratitude in Christian leadership as having joy in everything you do, while remembering to thank God, who has given you the gifts to get where you are today.
Tommy is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was homeschooled for grade school and is a member at Garden Homes Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.
Tommy was nominated for the Viking Christian Leader award for the joy he has out of gratitude for what God has done for him.
Currently a senior at Wisco, Tommy has participated in cross country, Inspiration, the musical, Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble. He has also been a part of Drama Club, the play, Book Club, 30 Book Challenge, WWW, and Student Council, and he has gone on the Civil Rights Tour and a Wisco mission trip to Nashville.
Tommy has volunteered at his church by leading Sunday School, playing trombone and piano, beatboxing, and running the livestream.
In his spare time, Tommy enjoys hanging out with friends and family, practicing music (especially jazz), playing outside, and playing board games.
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Tommy is planning to attend Martin Luther College for the pastor track.
Tommy characterizes gratitude in Christian leadership by remembering the words of 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 - “Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
