Mentor/Mentee October Event
On October 2, the Global Leadership Team (GLT) hosted a Halloween event for new international students and their American mentors.
Mentor and mentee participants decorated pumpkins together. Pairs of mentees and mentors competed for the titles of "Most Artistic Pumpkin," "Scariest Pumpkin," and "Most Culturally Mixed Pumpkin," and winners received prizes. They also learned about Homecoming. Most international students do not have any experience or knowledge of Homecoming before they came to the USA. The GLT provided a presentation about Homecoming, and American students helped to prepare international students for the excitement of Homecoming.
