English Excellence Summer Camp
During three weeks in July, WLHS welcomed students from around the world to its English Excellence Summer Camp. We were blessed with an attendance of 50 campers from the following eight countries: Brazil, China, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, El Salvador, and Thailand. This immersive, 18-day experience enabled campers to improve their English proficiency and gain insights into American culture and education. Four of those students will continue on with us at WLHS as new full-time students this year.
Wisco students applied to be a Wisco Friend for the Summer English Excellence Camp. Our students interacted with the campers, practiced English with them, and participated in field trips and activities. What a growing experience for all involved!
