Below are two scholarships UW-Milwaukee would like to highlight for WLHS families.
Up to 15 incoming freshmen receive full-ride scholarships if they graduate from a public or private high school in the city of Milwaukee and pursue computer science, data science or information technology majors at UWM. More than 40 UWM students will receive scholarships to pursue a certificate or degree in health-related fields. Selected students will receive up to $20,000 over four years at UWM. Recipients will be selected based on academic achievement and financial need. Approximately 25% of scholarships are designated for students who have attended Milwaukee Public Schools.
