Throughout the semester, school counselors provide beneficial lessons for sophomores in English courses, guiding students to understand their identity as creations of God while effectively managing conflict. Students learn to navigate disagreements in ways that reflect scripture and biblical principles, emphasizing forgiveness, understanding, and reconciliation.
The curriculum also examines the psychology of how individuals process life events, equipping students with practical strategies to address both the blessings and challenges that God places in their lives. Lesson application prepares students for productive, Christ-centered lives in a diverse world, empowering them to confidently face life's ups and downs with faith and grace.
John 15:16-17 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.17 This is my command: Love each other.
