Seniors met with Director of Student Services Mr. Davis and school counselors to discuss their Academic and Career Plans (ACP). Over the next two weeks, each senior will have a one-on-one session with their counselor to review where they are at in their post high school plan. Parents should review the senior section of the Student Services resource board (through onCampus) for the presentation given to students.
Parents can also track progress by logging into their child's Xello accounts. The counsel given to seniors is a key meeting that takes place to support college, career, and life readiness.
Seniors are encouraged to review the list of items to complete before graduation to help support their ACP:
Attend the national college fair in Milwaukee and on-site Post High School Planning Night at WLHS
Register for college visits through Student Services Office
Attend Viking-2-Viking seminars
Solidify postsecondary plans and consult with a counselor as needed
Complete Xello goals and plans
Update Xello resume builder
Optional: Create Xello portfolio
