Hope Squad

Hope Squad is a peer-to-peer self-harm and suicide prevention program. Students are nominated by their peers as trustworthy leaders of the student body. Members are trained on the direct and indirect signs of self-harm and suicide ideation and how to appropriately intervene and refer students to a trusted adult.
The WLHS SWP along with all programs, services, tools, and resources can be found on the Student Services Resource Board (login here). An overview of the ACP will be presented at parent information nights throughout the year. If you have any questions, reach out to your child's school counselor.
