Discovering Health Care Expo
Students attended the Waukesha County Business Alliance’s annual Discovering Health Care Expo at Waukesha County Technical College on Tuesday, March 5. The expo exposed students considering a career in healthcare to the multitude of career paths available in the industry. Students participated in various hands-on activities like learning how to use physical therapy tests and blood testing equipment, CPR demonstrations, and more. Career-based opportunities offer students hands on learning in specific career fields to gain interest and understanding of a potential career. We thank the Waukesha County Business Alliance for organizing this event and being a great partner for our Wisco family! Participants in the expo included Capri Communities, Carroll University, Children’s Wisconsin, Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin, HAWS, Lakeland University, Moreland OB-GYN, Mount Mary University, ProHealth Care, Three Pillars, City of Waukesha Police and Fire Departments, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and Waukesha County Technical College.
