Tour Day at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater
On a quiet day of winter break, WLHS offered students from Honey Creek Hall dormitory the opportunity to have a campus tour day at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Students took a guided walking tour of the university's academic, athletic, residential, and student services facilities, and then enjoyed lunch in one of the university cafeterias. A panel of international students from UWW answered questions and shared their experiences and advice. Finally, the students played a round of bowling at the campus bowling alley before the return drive back to Milwaukee.
Throughout the year, dormitory students are given opportunities to learn more about the university admissions process in the USA and tour a variety of area universities. This helps students gain confidence in understanding the options available to them as they prepare to enter a university that is the best fit for their unique talents and aspirations.
