Vikings Come From Behind to Top Veritas
The Wisco soccer team was staring at a 2-0 halftime deficit on Senior Night. But the Vikings refused to quit, scoring three times in the second half to defeat Veritas 3-2 in the regular season finale for both teams.
Giarley Gonzalez got Wisco on the board and Noah Oertel provided the equalizer. Senior Zach Adams scored on an assist from Luke Rodgers to put the Vikings on top and provide the winning margin.
The team finishes the regular season with a record of 10-6-3. The Vikings host Waterford in the first round of the WIAA Playoffs on Tuesday, October 19.
