The Wisco soccer team scored its first conference win in a big way with a 5-0 victory over South Milwaukee on Wednesday night.
The host Vikings led 2-0 at halftime and added three goals after the break. Luke Rodgers found the net twice for Wisco. Noah Oertel added a goal and an assist, and Jack Middleman and Giarley Gonzalez each contributed a goal apiece. Jack Zerbe kept a clean sheet in goal for the second time this season.
The win evens the team's conference record at 1-1. The Vikings travel to the Woodside Sports Complex on Friday and Saturday to participate in the Baraboo Tournament. Game times and opponents are TBA.
