Boys Track Wins Conference Championship

The boys track & field team continued its strong season with a victory at the Woodland West Outdoor Championship at WLHS on Tuesday night. It was the first Outdoor championship for the Vikings since joining the conference in 2018.

The team won five events and placed someone in the top three in 12 events to easily outpace runner-up New Berlin Eisenhower, 189.33-125.

A number of Vikings earned all-conference honors by placing in the top three of their event:
  • Phrellis Lee, Isaiah Hopf, Jacob Spudat, Robert Rehm--1st--4x200 Relay (setting a new conference record)
  • Nathan Miller--1st--300 Intermediate Hurdles
  • Vicente Janik--1st--800 Run
  • Isaiah Hopf--1st--Long Jump
  • Isaiah Hopf--1st--Triple Jump
  • Michael Miller--2nd--800 run
  • Isaiah Hopf--2nd--200 dash
  • Silas Ebeling--2nd--3200 run
  • Robert Rehm, Luke Wegner, Jamond Allen, Michael Miller--2nd--4x400 Relay
  • Nathan Miller--2nd--High Jump
  • Jamond Allen--2nd--Long Jump
  • Jamond Allen--2nd--Triple Jump
  • Kamarion Burbridge--2nd--Shot Put
  • Josiah Cox--3rd--300 Intermediate Hurdles
  • Corey Tipton--3rd--110 High Hurdles
  • Tristan Sanchez, Sam Goede, Nathan Weber, Ben Mierendorf--3rd--4x800 Relay
Additionally Travis Beckler, won four wheelchair events - the 100, 400, 800, and shot put - and set a new stadium record in the 400.
