The Wisco basketball team improved to 17-2 with an 80-51 win over Germantown on Monday evening. On a night when seniors Ouray Harper, Isaiah Hopf, and Jonah Rindfleisch were recognized, the Vikings controlled the game from start to finish en route to a non-conference victory.
A 23-4 run out of the gates ended any potential drama. Seven different Vikings scored as part of the opening run, in which they made 10 of 14 shots and held the Warhawks to just 2 of 11 shooting, while forcing four turnovers.
Rindfleisch's eighth double-double of the season paced the team. He scored 14 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, and blocked six shots. Kon Knueppel scored in double figures for the third consecutive game; he had 13 points to go along with five rebounds and a team-high four assists. Hopf, Jamiir Allen, and Landon Key all added nine points apiece as part of a balanced attack. More stats are available here.
The Vikings close out the regular season at Brown Deer on Wednesday, February 10.
