Vikings Cruise to Win in Opener
The Wisco boys basketball team opened up a 25-point halftime lead en route to an 82-65 victory at Whitnall in the season opener.
A 23-6 run late in the first half broke the game open for the Vikings. The Falcons trimmed the lead to 11 at one point in the second half, but got no closer.
Four Vikings scored in double figures, led by senior Isaiah Hopf with 17 points. Jordan Glenn and Prentice Young added 16 points apiece and Jonah Rindfleisch had 12 points to go along with seven rebounds.
Wisco turned the ball over just 5 times while forcing Whitnall into 21 miscues.
