2025 WELS National Band Fest

The WELS National Band Fest gathers the top musicians from WELS Lutheran High Schools for a weekend of mutually-edifying performance with their peers. This year, nine students from Wisco were selected for this distinct honor. The WELS National Band Fest is March 7-9 at Martin Luther College (MLC), New Ulm, Minn. The theme is Instruments of Praise. The head clinician is Dr. Miles Wurster, director of instrumental music at MLC and Mr. Wes Schmandt, instructor at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School, is the percussion clinician.
