Morning Assembly: Stress and School Life
On December 3, WLHS students gathered for the second of four assemblies that address topics relevant to the challenges teens face. This quarter's topic was stress and school life. Pastor Huebner led an opening devotion. Student speakers shared their insights and experiences.
Guest speaker, Dr. Rhoda Wolle, Vice President of Organizational Development for the global mission organization Kingdom Workers, addressed our students and shared techniques for recalibrating your brain chemistry to handle stress. Students were encouraged to take notes and participate in discussion and strategy exercises during the presentation.
