International Education Week: November 18-22
International Education Week is November 18-22 and celebrates the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. WLHS is recognizing this week in several ways! Our chapel lectors and singers will be from various countries with readings and songs in their native language as well as English throughout the week. On Tuesday, November 19, Wisco will host an International Fair from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the atrium and upper lobby for anyone to attend. Various countries and cultural groups will be represented with display boards, music, pictures, and ethnic food.
A world language table will be present in the upper lobby for students to share their native language with the student body. There will be an international trivia competition, cultural crossroads cafe to learn about different cultures, international dress day, and a foreign film showing.
