VCLA Members Attend 2024 Leadership Day
Members of the Viking Christian Leaders Academy (VCLA), along with other area-WELS high schools, had a chance to participate in the 2024 Leadership Day at Wisconsin Lutheran College. The keynote speaker was former SEAL team member Chad Williams who gave an inspirational talk on the topic, "Forged by Adversity."
During his talk, Mr. Williams spoke on seven principles that can be used on a battlefield, while competing on an athletic field, or navigating the daily challenges of life. He encouraged students to remember that the "forged by adversity" mindset applies across all modalities, but keeping Christ at the center is where we can begin.
