Semifinalists in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program Announced
Congratulations to seniors Thomas Doerr, Amos Ebeling, and John Torres-Stewart who were recently named semifinalists in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. As juniors, Thomas, Amos, and John took the PSAT/NMSQT and achieved a qualifying test score. Less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors receive semifinalist status.
To become a Finalist, the Semifinalists and a high school official must submit a detailed scholarship application which includes their academic record, evidence of leadership and service to their community, and essay writing proficiency. In addition, they must earn high scores on the SAT or ACT to confirm their earlier performance on the qualifying test.
Thomas, Amos, and John will be notified if they have advanced to the Finalist level. To God be the glory for these distinguished accomplishments!
