Late Start Wednesdays Begin August 21

To create a common time when teachers and departments can meet and grow professionally, WLHS observes a teacher collaboration schedule on Wednesdays during the 2024-25 school year. Beginning Wednesday, August 21, and every Wednesday through May 12, teachers will meet from 7:30-8:30 a.m. First period will begin at 8:45 a.m. New this year, only the front door will be open at 7:00 a.m. to accommodate any students whose transportation or family schedule requires an earlier arrival. Please note: DO NOT cross the Glenview Avenue parking lot entrance. When parking on Glenview Avenue or walking from the water tower parking lot, students should walk down the sidewalk past Zeitler Stadium and cross the parking lot at the end of the sidewalk. The visitor's entrance and door 18 will open at 8:00 a.m. to accommodate a safer walk path. Students must report to the cafeteria or library before first hour for a monitored study time.
