Late Start Wednesdays Begin August 21

To create a common time when teachers and departments can meet and grow professionally, WLHS observes a teacher collaboration schedule on Wednesdays. Beginning Wednesday, August 21, and every Wednesday through May 14, teachers will meet from 7:30-8:30 a.m. New this year, school will begin at 8:45 a.m. on late start Wednesdays. While students do not need to come to school until the first class hour at 8:45 a.m., only the front door will be open at 7:00 a.m. to accommodate any students whose transportation or family schedule requires an earlier arrival. Students who arrive early will report to the cafeteria or library before first hour for a monitored study time. Click here for the schedule. The visitor entrance will not open until 8:00 a.m.
