WELS Calls Update
The following is an update on the recent calls that our staff received and that WLHS extended:
- Mr. Aaron Bauer declined our call to teach theology and coach freshman boys basketball.
- Mr. Michael Plocher declined our call to teach engineering and coordinate Project Lead the Way.
- Mr. Kris Walta declined our call to teach theology and coach freshman boys basketball
- Pastor Heath Butler declined a call to First German Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, Wis.
- Mr. Casey Pufahl accepted the call to St. Jacobi Lutheran School, Greenfield, Wis.
- Ms. Tanya Tranberg declined a call to Luther High School, Onalaska, Wis.
- Mrs. Tamara Leyrer resigned her call effective this summer. Her husband, Pastor Pete Leyrer, accepted a call to Hudson, Wis. Mrs. Leyrer will continue her ministry with Kingdom Workers organization.
- Mr. Joshua Severeid for Fine Arts with an emphasis on grade school band. Mr. Severeid currently teaches at Arizona Lutheran Academy.
- Mr. Nathan King for International Admissions Director. Mr. King currently serves as the International Program Director at Manitowoc Lutheran High School.
