Congratulations to our seniors Kirstin Neuwirth and Frank An Quan-Pham who have advanced to National Merit Finalist standing. Kirstin and Frank are now in the top ten percent of the more than 1.5 million students who initially entered the National Merit Scholarship Competition their junior year.
This past fall, Kirstin and Frank's qualifying scores moved them to semifinalist status granted to just 16,000 students out of 1.5 million. To compete as a Finalist, these students submitted their ACT scores, high school transcripts, extra-curricular and volunteer activities, and a self-descriptive essay. We praise God that these scholars are now two of the 15,000 Finalists who will receive a Merit Scholarship Award and are eligible for one of the National Merit Scholarships. Well done and God be praised!
