Robotics Camp

NOTE: Registration for Robotics Camp is now closed.

For Coed Students Entering Grades 5-9 (all sessions are identical)

Students in this program will learn how to build and program a robot to compete in a game similar to those used in a high school competition. Participants will learn how to mount motors and servos to run a vehicle.

FULL - Session 1: June 17-21 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
FULL - Session 2: June 24-28
 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
FULL - Session 3: July 8-12
from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Cost is $80
and includes a t-shirt.

Registration for Robotics Camp is due
by Monday, May 15, 2023.

Each session of this camp will be limited to 12 students, due to limits on building materials.

Students meet at WLHS in room 180 (Engineering Classroom) each day.

Staff
Mr. Tim Thierfelder has led the Wisco robotics team for the
past 12 years. Under his leadership, the Wisco robotics team won the 2009 and 2011 Wisconsin State FIRST TECH Challenge Championship and has competed at the FTC World Championships in Atlanta and St. Louis. In 2017, the team finished 2nd in the state in programming. Mr. Thierfelder teaches math and Computer Science Engineering at WLHS.
