WLHS alumna Lisa (Johnson) Joplin ('81) was recognized in the MIlwaukee Journal Sentinel for being a leader—on the basketball court, in law enforcement, and now in her own business. A former standout player at Wisconsin Lutheran High School and Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Lisa went on to serve as a Milwaukee police officer for 25 years before retiring to pursue her passion for hairstyling. Today, she runs a shop that has become more than just a salon; it’s a refuge for Marquette basketball players, including her son, David, where they can relax, recharge, and get the perfect look before game day.
