2024-25 OHFHS Mission Project
Our Hands for His Service (OHFHS), a year-round fundraising initiative at Wisco, has selected both domestic and international organizations for the 2024-25 school year as the recipients of the money collected. Students will raise money to support church expansion for the WELS mission church in London and also for the WELS-based organization Lutherans for Life.
The WELS mission church in London has been in existence for more than 40 years through the efforts of WELS chaplains. It has seen recent growth through partnerships with sister congregation members moving into the area. For example, more than 20 percent of members and leaders from WELS’ partner church in Hong Kong have already moved to the U.K.
Lutherans for Life provides mothers with unexpected pregnancies the necessities needed to ensure the baby is born as well as baby supplies after birth.
The 2024-25 goal is to raise $40,000. Stay tuned to OHFHS fundraising activities throughout the school year.
