2024 Volleyball Team Academic Award

Congratulations to the WLHS varsity volleyball team, led by Coach Dave Baacke ('84), for receiving the 2024 United States Marine Corp/American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award, sponsored by INTENT, a company focused on purpose-driven, career paths for student-athletes.

The WLHS volleyball team surpassed the average 3.3 GPA benchmark for the entire year. We applaud our volleyball team for staying focused on academic achievements even as they maintained their commitment to a winning season.
