GoKid Carpool App - New Family Invite on August 8
WLHS partners with GoKid, a leading school carpooling program, to make carpooling to and from school easier for our parent community. We will be launching the program to our new parents and parents that have not yet registered on Thursday, August 8.
Important: For parents that have already registered with GoKid, you can simply log into the app and search for new families in the “find family” tab. You will not receive the welcome E-mail from GoKid. Parents that previously opted out also will not receive any communication. Please contact Director of Admissions Mr. Brad Wetzel at brad.wetzel@wlhs.org if you previously opted out but now want to make use of this program.
What NEW FAMILIES can expect on Thursday, August 8:
Welcome E-mail: You will receive an E-mail from GoKid inviting you to register and set up carpools with other school families. (Kindly check your spam folder should you not receive the email on this date, and mark this communication as ‘not spam.)
Registration: Click "Get Started" to register your account with WLHS. If you already have a GoKid account, just set a password and you will be directed to link it to WLHS.
Optional opt out: Not interested in carpooling? Simply click "Opt Out" in the E-mail. You will no longer receive communication from Gokid. Just be aware that opt out can not easily be undone.
Create carpools: Find nearby school families on a map, start chats, and create carpools using the GoKid mobile apps (App Store, Google Play Store) or web app.
