Alumni Perform in Canticum Novum Concerts
Everyone is invited to the Canticum Novum concerts on June 21-22. WLHS teachers Danny Hafenstein and Casey Pufahl, and alumni Karen (Sandlass) Vasatko ('90), Levi Nagel ('99), Jessi (Floeter) Kolberg ('01), Abigail (Buske) Peterson ('06), Anne Hafenstein ('11), Evan Witz ('11), and Joseph Eick ('16) perform with the group. This summer, the chorus will undertake its first full-length concert work, Johannes Brahms' magnificent Ein deutsches Requiem.
Concert performances are at St. Marcus Lutheran Church on Friday, June 21, at 7:30 p.m., and at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waukesha, on Saturday, June 22, at 7:30 p.m. Additionally, the choir will be singing at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc as part of the 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. worship services on Sunday, June 23.
