WLHS Hosts Spring Camp for Students from Ecuador
WLHS hosted ten students and one adult chaperone from Ecuador for a two-week spring camp. Some of the many activities they experienced have included a tour of the city of Milwaukee, an Admirals hockey game, Easter party with our dorm students, Wisconsin dairy farm experience, Milwaukee Art and Public Museums, Sky Zone trampoline park, Great Wolf Lodge waterpark, and much more.
The Ecuadorian students stayed with host families and shadowed WLHS students during the school day. They participated in classroom conversations with WLHS Spanish classes, and presented shared characteristics of Ecuadorian culture with students at Christ-St. Peter Lutheran School. The camp experience concluded with a closing program in the Wisco library where students shared their favorite highlights of the trip.
