On a recent weekend, Honey Creek Hall juniors embarked on their annual springtime class trip to Chicago. The students spent the entire day in “the Windy City”, visiting famous landmarks such as Chicago 360, Millennium Park, and the Art Institute, enjoying iconic deep dish pizza, and exploring the Chinatown neighborhood for dinner.
The trip is an opportunity for the students to experience the rich culture and history of Chicago firsthand, while enjoying one another’s friendship and creating lasting memories. The students were able to immerse themselves in the city's diverse offerings, taking in the breathtaking views from Chicago 360 and admiring the world-renowned artwork at the Art Institute. Special thanks goes to the teachers who volunteered their time to accompany the students, including engineering instructor Mr. Nygaard, food techniques instructor Mrs. Livingston, and dormitory supervisor Mrs. Crowder.
