2024 Homecoming Dance
The 2024 Homecoming Dance theme is City of Stars. The dance will take place in the Wisconsin Lutheran High School gymnasium on Saturday, October 12, from 7:00-10:00 p.m. Tickets go on sale the week of homecoming and can be purchased through our GoFan app for $14 per person. Ticket sales end at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11.
All students will need to have a means of transportation from school promptly at the end of the dance at 10:00 p.m. Curfew is 11:00 p.m. in Milwaukee County, so it is important that our students are home or with a parent before curfew time.
WLHS seeks to conduct dances that will provide for the social development of our students in accordance with the Word of God. To help young Christians develop norms of behavior that are consistent with spiritual principles, the following guidelines have been developed:
- Dance cost: $14 per person, includes refreshments
- Attire: Semi-formal (NO JEANS!); young men wear ties or sweaters and young women wear dresses or dress pants. Dress should be modest and God pleasing.
- Dances will be chaperoned by faculty and administration with parental help.
- Students are expected to conduct themselves and dress in such a way that they reflect the will and love of their Lord.
- Only seniors may bring guests; all guests must be registered and limited to one guest of the opposite sex per person. They may not bring in guest dates for others.
- WLHS seniors are responsible for the conduct of their guests.
- Students will not be admitted to the dance any later than 8:00 p.m.
- Once a student leaves the building, he or she may not re-enter; if students need to go to their cars, a chaperone must accompany them.
- No alcohol, tobacco products, or any other illegal substances are allowed on the premises. All standards noted under "Behavior - Inappropriate" in the 2024-25 WLHS Handbook apply to this event.
