  • Tuition and Costs

    The total cost for the 2025-26 school year is $47,100. This includes the enrollment fee, tuition, on-campus housing, and meals. All figures are subject to change. Students should plan for an annual increase of approximately five percent of total costs.
  • Payment Procedures

    The $200 non-refundable registration fee must be included with the admission application form. Upon receiving the acceptance letter by email, the family must pay a $4,500 enrollment deposit to hold the student’s place in the enrollment. The remaining balance must be paid in full by July 31. Once the student is enrolled at WLHS, the tuition becomes non-refundable. For online payments, click here.

    In the event the student visa is denied, any tuition or residence fees already paid will be refunded. The application fee and enrollment fee are non-refundable. (Exception: enrollment fee will be refunded with proper evidence showing proof of visa denial.) 
  • Program Costs Include

    • Transportation to/from airport to school at the beginning and end of the school year
    • Three-level ESL program for building English proficiency as soon as possible
    • Modern on-campus housing with supervisory adult residential staff
    • Three meals each day
    • International Student Program staff for academic and residential support
    • Student Services department staff for academic advising and university counseling
    • Chromebook and online learning course management system
    • New international student orientation to prepare students for adjustment to American school system, culture, laws, and city of Milwaukee
    • American homestay family experience for the Thanksgiving holiday
    • All books, gym uniforms, and music lessons (if desired)
    • Arrange for occasional field trips and excursions for student enrichment
  • School Vacations/Residence Closing

    The student residential program will be closed for the two-week vacation at Christmas and one-week Spring Break. Some students visit home, while others visit a relative in the U.S. If the student wishes, an area homestay is available for those vacations. The school will assist in arranging this for a fee of $500 for the two-week Christmas break and $250 for the one-week spring break. This money should be submitted to WLHS prior to the school break and will be given by the school to the homestay family at the end of the break. 

    Please note: This fee is not included in the tuition and program fees.
  • Scholarships

    A limited number of partial scholarships are available for international students each year. Please contact the International Program at international@wlhs.org for more information about eligibility requirements.
