Congratulations to Alexia Johnson ('24) and Stephen Miller ('24) who were selected as Viking Christian Leaders for the month of May under “The Wisco Way Word": Faith. We thank God for the way Alexia and Stephen have modeled servant leadership at school and in the community. Any student or staff member may nominate a student for the Viking Christian Leaders Award which is presented each month to one young man and one young woman.
Alexia is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She attends church at Kingdom Vision Outreach Ministries and went to grade school at St. Marcus in Milwaukee.
Currently a senior at Wisco, Alexia has participated in track & field, dance, step team, Critical Thinkers, and NHS. She has also gone on the Civil Rights Tour.

After graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Alexia will attend UW-Milwaukee for her first semester of college, then transfer to North Carolina Central University to pursue a career in optometry.
Alexia characterizes faith in Christian leadership as leaning not on your own understanding, but humbling yourself to say, “God is in control.”

Currently a senior at Wisco, Stephen has participated in cross country, track & field, soccer, robotics, and math track. He will also attend the Wisco mission trip to Brazil this summer.

After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Stephen plans to attend Wisconsin Lutheran College, then transfer to Milwaukee School of Engineering for Mechanical Engineering.
Stephen characterizes faith in Christian leadership as trusting that God’s got you, despite what you do or don’t see in the world around you.
