Morning Assembly: Overcoming Obstacles with Faith

On March 4, Wisco welcomed back alum Emily Kratz ('97) to address our student body about overcoming obstacles with faith. Ms. Kratz shared the importance of the role faith plays in facing personal challenges, not just physical ones. Ms. Kratz lives in Minneapolis and works for Microsoft. She is a triathlete and extreme racer who has regularly competed in tests of endurance in locations such as the Sahara Desert and the Arctic Circle.
Campus Pastor Phil Huebner ('98) opened the assembly with a devotion about fixing your eyes on the cross of Christ to persevere in life with his help. Students Alexia Johnson ('24) and Tyler Heiman ('24) (pictured second) shared their personal life challenges and how they were able to overcome depression and doubts with the help of their Savior. Members of the cross country team (pictured first) posed for an inspirational photo with Emily. To see the full assembly, click here.
